This initiative came in view of the extent of suffering by researchers at the local, regional, and international levels regarding information in the field of tourism research, hotel management, tourism guidance, and other disciplines related to the tourism sector in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. This platform is the result of fruitful cooperation between Yarmouk University and the Scientific Research Fund in the Ministry of Higher Education and with significant support from the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, represented by His Excelency minister of Tourism & Antiquities, Dr. Imad Hijazin.
It has also been noted that these researchers need to make tremendous efforts to access the information because it is found in many different sources, and it is often difficult to access it. From here, this initiative, which mainly aims to facilitate searches for tourism information related to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, came out in a way that serves scientific research, the tourism sector, and all partners and decision-makers in tourism affairs.
